THE FIGHT

What did we say?

What could be made out of that dilemma?

She was meant to be occupied by one of them

Yet they both seemed to dwell in her

Her capacity was made for one

So they tore her apart:

Their consistent fight for ownership

She was caught up in their struggle

She knew who was best for her

Yet she wanted a taste of the other

So she gave in to him; that darkness

And he ruled her for long

In pain, she suffocated

Yet unwilling to let go of him; that darkness

He; that light

Kept making advances towards her

Fighting and struggling to own her

She didn't recognize his sincerity

She was too darkened to his beauty

But he kept his game up

Until she lost sight of him; that darkness

And found solace in him; that light

She would only give room to one of them

She's chosen him; that light and that's final

She was out of that dilemma.
