ANOTHER FEMINIST POEM

Hello Mr. Man!  
Now I need you to listen carefully to another feminist poem
As a woman I'm going to tell you how strong I am, 
How independent I can be,  
And most of all, how opinionated I assume myself to be 
But not like you normally hear it. 
I am independent enough to know where I'm lacking 
But sometimes I need you to point it out because I forget
Independent enough to get myself what I want, when I want
But I'll still love a little surprise from you... 
It warms my independent little heart 
I'll pin my feet on the ground and say that when the wind comes
Me, myself and I are gonna keep my feet steady
But I want a hype man to tell me I can do it 
I have opinions too, it bruises my ego when you don't let me talk
Oh you don't think I have an ego? Her name's Dora
She's always exploring and trying to find things that are lost or hidden 
She doesn't take no for an answer
But she's always seeking help
Mr. Man,  you know that I need your help 
Beneath this hard surface of strength, hard work and black that don't crack
Lies a buttery heart... I'm your perfect Oreo 
I need you to hold my tongue when I'm out of line 
Encourage me
Pray with and for me in my darkest days 
And love me. 
I am just another feminist, not strong because I can do everything myself
But strong because I can admit that I need your help.
