I want to write
Please let me know you'll read this
Show me that the words I have taken so long to craft
Is what you stare at in magnificent awe
With your mind trying so hard to comprehend
Because I won't paint this picture again
It may take so long for this canvas to be filled again
Beautifully painted brush strokes of As and Bs
You'll see these become something beautiful
Promise me that you'll read this
And I will have the strength to pick up another paint brush
Promise me that you'll read this
And I promise to write again even if you don't.
